New Zealand White Rabbits

Nothing says rabbit like the original white bunny with the pink eyes.  I am dedicated to the original New Zealand White Rabbit in all forms but in only one color.  Always seeking new breeding stock for meat, breeding, show and pet quality NZ's.  Member ARBA and AFNZRBA.

Photos and descriptions of breeder rabbits are slow in coming.  Poor Gandalf the super inbred buck has such wild Angora like fur that he needs a sheering before the world can view him.  The super rabbit cave I'm constructing is deep into major renovations to improve sanitation and freedom of movement.  By early July the births will be done, rabbit enclosure mostly done and weather should be right for a good photo shoot.

Phillip and Lolly have blessed Hobo Queens Farm Rabbitry with the first ever successful litter of New Zealand White rabbit kits.  Both of these rabbits were purchased from breeders I envied greatly for their fine stock.  Phillip is a bit aggressive but Lolly is the pet friendly sweetheart sort of rabbit I hope to produce in huge numbers in the future. Their litter of 10 beautiful babies was born on May 7th, 2014 and I am keeping all does and 2 bucks until they are 6 months of age for evaluation as breeders.

Rums ZG1 from Rum's Buns Rabbitry of Missouri is the son and grandson of a Grand Champion buck and I can't wait to put that beauty into my future stock.  Ziggy and Ursula are expecting both of their first babies approximately June 25th, 1014, I can't wait!

Lord Trinidad was a very special boy I found at auction. I saw him for a diamond in the rough. I tried desperately to breed him with no luck.  Lady Tiara was bought from a friend and I was sad that after 3 breedings she was nothing but an overweight failure.  When Trinidad died a month ago I crossed my fingers and prayed. I guess I did something right because June 6th Tiara shocked me and herself with 6 live kits and 4 dead.  Between us we kept 4 safe and healthy. Bless you Trinidad, R.I.P. these are 4 super special little bunnies.

Lovely Nikolas, inbred to produce a thick, luxurous rich fur that only a rex rabbit breeder could love.  Lady Violet, from unknown parts she came to me, healthy, perfect and clever.  Genetics will tell. I know Nikolas comes from great stock, I'm sure somewhere in her history Violet got her lovliness.  Can't wait to see their babies approx June 25th, 2014.
